Wednesday Hike

Tuesday Hikes have changed to Wednesday Hikes, except we went yesterday to a fun little spot by Nix's school then we walked home from there. Sorry that I like to post mostly our hikes! I can't think of a funner time to take pictures than when we are hiking. Everyone is the happiest at these times too!

Now this may look like a rock, I think it had babies and there are probably a hundred of these little suckers all around my house driving me crazy. They are crystals and diamonds and valuable stones, so I need to just let them dazzle my home with beauty and let my child use his imagination. It's important!

This little munchkins favorite part was running down steep hills. CRAZY I TELL YOU!

My Tino is a strong hiker, he beat everyone to the car and I wasn't happy to see him standing on the sidewalk next to a busy street when I left the trail. I thank my Father in Heaven everyday for protecting this sweet child! I can't do the motherhood thing without Him!

Here, it looks like, is where the aliens landed their ship.

I was reading in the January Ensign last night and found this beautiful tool. It's remarkable how ancient records can relate to us today! I love the scriptures and know that they are true!!

Blessing day

My Corbs and my beautiful mother and grandmother! I love how chubby I look! I need good milk for the growing baby! This time will pass too quick! I have the rest of my life to be fit and thin. It's not important to me if it's not important to Brett anyways! I love to be in good shape, but I love me a sweet angel from heaven MORE! I have learned so much from these women in my life, I am so grateful for family, the Lord had it right when he created FAMILIES!
Precious angel from Heaven!
My supportive FAMILY! All of you are family, including Abraham and Gloria taking pictures!

Sharing

I read the September Ensign and was impressed by the Article from a woman who helped her family memorize "The Living Christ." Then I read the blog of a family which is very spiritually oriented and they are taking the challenge to memorize it by Christmas as a gift to the dad. They posted the link that already has it all mapped out for you and your family to print and memorize it by Christmas. So here it is. http://www.bookofmormondiscovery.com/livingchrist.html
Good Luck!

Grateful

There are so many Mormon Messages, and as a mother I felt so much love from heaven in the message- Motherhood: An Eternal Partnership with God. Have fun searching for your favorite!

I can be a Missionary NOW!

I just read an email from {my cousin}Nicholas who is serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Taiwan in the BeiTou Ward and would like to share some thoughts about what he wrote.   "We've been real busy lately, with lots of lessons.  Our area has really been blessed.  You know, we don't really know why, why this is all happening right now.  I wish we could find out how, and try and have that all the time, that we can always see this much success.  We're always working on it.  我是奇蹟之神"
I was blessed to have the opportunity to go with Brett and 2 Elders in our ward to meet with a charming woman who is investigating the church.  It was a nice meeting where I felt the Holy Spirit more than once.  She is having challenges in the area of prayer, which has helped me realize what a valuable tool I have, PRAYER!  I believe that God is my Father in Heaven, the literal Father of my spirit and that He hears and answers my prayers.  He doesn't answer them in the way or timeliness that I would always want, but He does in fact answer them!  I am striving to make my prayers more frequent and sincere!  I think I often stew over things and worry about things that are mostly out of my control.  I need to trust my Father in Heaven to take these burdens from me, as I pray and read the Word of God!
Our Elders told us that the missionary work around here is on fire!  I think it is on fire everywhere and I think there are more people looking for the fulness of the Truth that our Father has made available for us to receive and share in this last dispensation of times.  I think there are more people sharing the gospel with their friends.  Consider everyone!  I am going to make a more valiant effort to introduce the gospel to those around me and let them decide if they want to know more.
