Nix's 5K

So you want to hear about my 5 1/2 year old running a 5k? He did awesome! He finished in 33:18, those are 10:45 minute miles. They competed in the 14 and under category, and he finished 17th out of 23. He was more concerned with staying with his cousins than doing his best, especially in the beginning, he kept stopping to wait for one of his cousins that was behind, two cousins took off ahead in the beginning. Funny thing, the little ones finished in the opposite order than they were in the beginning. There was some competitiveness, some crying, some blocking. But in the end, they all finished strong! Which is most important. They are strong kids, I am amazed by this accomplishment! I love them all!

Dehydrated

Corby just got 4 more teeth, a total of 8 now.

With sweating, lactating and crying... I can't drink enough water to keep myself hydrated!
Summer is finally here, with almost constant sweating day and night, unless I escape to an air conditioned location. If you didn't know yet, I'm cheep!
My baby is 11 months old, walking, jabbering, nursing 3 a days. He loves it!

Crying? There is no easyway to say it. I keep waking up to a nightmare that I'm having a hard time accepting as reality. 9 days ago, my 16 year old cousin passed away suddenly, without warning. I love him! I love all my Lawrence cousins like my own brothers and sisters. It was hardest for me yesterday as I looked at his precious belongings, watched the pictures of his life playing to his favorite music, wept at the body he left behind for now, and listened to the amazing stories shared by those closest to him! I was overwhelmed in the hall and while entering the chapel, the boy scouts were saluting on both sides all the way to our seats in the front. Sam's heart failed while he was running. He was competing in the running leg of a triathlon at Scout camp. He was perfectly healthy, he had some heart abnormalities is all they could determine as of now. He was life flighted out, but hisheart failed before they reached the hospital. I'mbewildered by it all. I am so sad for my cousins who will feel the loss even more than me. The service was beautiful! Thededication to the grave was comforting. I feel for their loss and wish I could do more! I know Sam's memory will never be forgotten. I love him still and will miss him! I know he is happy and I know he will be resurrected like our savior Jesus Christ, the morning of the First Resurrection. I know Jesus lives, and so I know that Sam will live again too!

My favorite

I love the Huntington Gardens! I think I like to be here even more than the kids, but they are so happy while we are here, and they run and play the WHOLE time. 6 hours~ So Fun!

A First

Corbs' first time in an airplane and his first time in Utah. Him and I went there to see my niece play her flute in the Conference Center. While we were there we had so much fun staying at different places and seeing as many people as we could without having a car. I have so much family in Utah! Thank you Brett for flying me out there! I love you!
All I had was my iPhone so all the pictures are taken with only it. Here is Corbs in the plane.
We drove into Salt Lake and had so much fun checking out Temple Square.

We met Jenny and Pais for lunch.
My little buddy for the weekend! Love this baby! The church office building amazed me. The North Visitor Center amazed me.
This beautiful girl amazed me. I couldn't believe how great the Suzuki Association of UT sounded at their concert. They did a wonderful job and I know Park worked hard! I was so happy to have been there! Corbs did a great job at being quiet for the concert too. He looks pretty chubby in this picture. ;D
I was able to meet and catch up with my friend Sara and our twin boys.
We had to show Brett that we were having the time of our lives. I really missed him though.
We had a chance to go see Grandpa and really enjoyed our visit. I'm so glad we were able to see him.
Corbs was well taken care of by his cousins!

Cousin Treat

Sisi spent the day with us, and we had so much fun. She cut her pizza really small and wanted to take a silly picture with it and Nix. "What are they feeding us? Tiny food?" They crack me up! I would have her come stay here any day of the week for as long as she wants! Vanessa stayed the night with us the night before, with both her kids, and took Ash to Legoland while Sisi stayed to play. I think we had more fun!

Blessing day

My Corbs and my beautiful mother and grandmother! I love how chubby I look! I need good milk for the growing baby! This time will pass too quick! I have the rest of my life to be fit and thin. It's not important to me if it's not important to Brett anyways! I love to be in good shape, but I love me a sweet angel from heaven MORE! I have learned so much from these women in my life, I am so grateful for family, the Lord had it right when he created FAMILIES!
Precious angel from Heaven!
My supportive FAMILY! All of you are family, including Abraham and Gloria taking pictures!
