Last night there was an earthquake in Southern Ca inland by the Mexico boarder. Not too big, but we felt it here around 9:30. Nix was laying in his bed, yet to fall asleep and he walked downstairs maybe 5 minutes after the shaking and asked, "What was that shaking the house?". We told him and asked him the go back to bed and he did. He asked me to come up and lay with him, but by the time I was going to come up he was already asleep. My brave little guy! This was the first earthquake he has ever felt. Pretty exciting, he even mentioned it to me this morning.

we had that not too long ago too and then it's great b/c you can talk to them about what to do when it starts shaking again..reminds us we need to talk to our kids about what we need to do in emergencies.
It is fun when they are little shakes like that. He is a brave boy. Jake felt it too but I didn't. What a great thing to post especially since it was his first one that he felt. :)
