My cousin passed away last year and this year they built a new lifeguard tower at Camp Whitsett as a memorial. We went up for the ceremony and enjoyed time with family!
We are still going over to Nixon's school during the summer to work in the garden.
We continue finding out that Corbin is our most expensive child. Wild man jumped off our bed and fractured his bone, in-between the wrist and elbow... we think it was the big bone.
Corbs and I went to see the two mountain lion cubs at the OC zoo about a month ago. All the animals in this zoo cannot be released back to the wild for one reason or another. It is a small zoo but very fun and just the right size for the little ones. There is a little train ride and pony rides and a park full of peacocks running wild.
Nix graduated from Kindergarten. This is him crossing the rainbow bridge toward the 1st grade teachers, where he was welcomed and told a story. I wish every child could have such a beautiful experience of Kindergarten that Nix had in a Waldorf school.
