Today I was making by baby laugh and while he was laughing, pure joy and mouth wide, I looked in his mouth and noticed a blue spot. Alarmed I looked again and again, and thought "maybe he hit his mouth on something," or "maybe something jabbed him in the gum." I thought it was a bruise. Then I put him down for a nap and jumped on the computer and found some helpful information on www.google.com, my favorite resource. So check out this link to find out more about teething. Apparently there is no need for alarm and this is common for babies who are teething. I will let you know if anything more comes of it.

Sounds alarming but great of you to look it up! I checked out the link, very interesting, never heard of a blue mushy blister when baby teething.
Crazy.. Glad it's just normal with teething. Thanks for the head up.
Spencer had the same thing when his molars came in at two years. Thank heavens it wasn't painful.
Good to know it's normal, in case I ever notice anything like it in the future! Happy to have you guys over Sunday!!
