Today we went swimming while Brett was Bar-B-Q-ing a tri-tip at the pool. Nix is almost swimming on his own. He wants so badly to swim free style after watching his cousin's swim meet. He has it down pretty well. He lays flat on the water, kicking and making large arm strokes. He just can't come up for air on his own yet. A few days ago he said to me, "Mommy, can you teach me how to swim?" I said sure and taught him a couple things. Now he practices every time we are at the pool.

Tino loves the pool too... but most of all loves the hot tub. He would stay in there for hours if I let him, which I won't, and he cries every time I pull him out. He loves getting his face wet. I sit in the kiddy pool with him, blow on his face and dunk his face in. When I bring him up he has a huge smile on his face, his eyes are closed shut, and then he promptly blows the water away from his lips and laughs.
