It is not easy to see Valentino, let alone, have a family picture with the man. It takes persistence and patience. Thanks to Joey and Monte for giving us their passes so we could allow our little Tino to meet the man he was named after. We had to wait after the races and Brett asked for his signature a few times and had to wait, wait, wait. Then after waiting for a couple hours outside his trailer, he came out and signed stuff, and took pictures with people and he signed Nix's dirty shirt. Then after about 5 or 10 minutes, he said he was done and that was all and went back in his trailer, so if you missed this window of opportunity that was it. Wow! We are so fortunate that the 2 times I had to take Nix to the bathroom, we didn't miss his appearance. When Brett told him that we named our son after him he was surprised and then Brett introduced him, Vale looked at Tino and did a little wave, and said "hi baby." It was a moment to remember!
