Today we joined a group hike at Willow. It was very fun. Two rangers guided us around and taught the kids about animal homes. They also threw in a few fun facts about the native plants in the area. My favorite plants were the dove weed and the monkey bush, fun to look at and touch, dove weed smells so good. The kids played in the sandstone caves and checked out all the holes and spiderwebs they passed. It was really a lot of fun for me too. Tino occasionally would take off into the bushes, and I'd chase him down and direct him back to the path. I'm sure he will get it eventually. Still their favorite part is being outside!
