Our hike this morning must have really wasted Tino, cuz he fell asleep at 12 noon and he is still asleep. Well, our hike this morning was very exciting. We had some friends join us! And we saw a lot of fun things, one being a huge rattlesnake that crossed our path right in front of us, if we had been there a little sooner we would have run into trouble and if we had been there any later we would have missed it completely. I didn't get a picture cuz I was more concerned about holding my kids back than taking a picture, but the image will be in my mind forever. I also brushed two ticks off Tino's shirt after he had been playing under a picnic table.
I don't know if these lizards were doing a fighting dance or a mating dance, but I took their picture cuz I liked how their chins were puffed out.
Interesting fruit from a vine, don't know what it is, but maybe I'll look it up. I think it's the Cucamonga Manroot.

okay, I wish I was at the beach with you on Thursday however I hate it when everyone else is there and we did have a fun Thursday. I love your belly, it is not huge, you look great! How fun to have such an exciting hike but, I would be completely freaked out by seeing a rattlesnake and the ticks. You are much more relaxed, great mom of boys. Better then me! :)
We miss you guys, It would be fun to go on all the hikes with you. The cousins would have much fun. Every time we have been hiking we have never came across any snakes, they must like you scent.
