We love this trail. It's the best biking trail, but if you hike there are many trails that branch off of it. You can find a map at the ranger office, it is the Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness park. The boys had more fun playing in the leaves by the ranger office, and playing with sticks, then actually hiking. We go as far as we can then we turn around. I think we went about 3 miles this day. We saw a large crane type bird flying along the river trail. No other animals to report besides little birds everywhere, oh, and we found poison ivy.
